What's it about?
I love the Harry Potter movies, particularly the character of Remus Lupin, Professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts...& werewolf. However, I like the book description of his wolf counterpart, Moony, who is basically a wolf as we know it. In the movie they came up with a very different looking crerature & this is my attempt to draw that. I don't particularly like the movie version of the wolf, but there are those out there that do...apparently.

Technical wizardry
Berol karismacolor pencil in Very Soft in my well-loved sketchpad. I then scanned & coloured in photoshop using a tablet. I deliberately went for very bold flat areas of colour favouring the simple comic-book look. Ok, I admit it...I'm damn lazy! One reference pic used of a sketch of the beast from the film to get an idea of the skeletal lay-out.

I love the different shades in colour the grey wolf stands out wonderfully :clap:

Originally I had those shades in mind when doing the pencil work, the grey/blues are very much what you see on-screen in the Moony sequences. However, it was about six weeks between drawing this & actually getting around to colouring it. I get lazy I do...
